Collaborator at BrightonSEO 2025: Our First Time at the Biggest SEO Event

This October, our team attended BrightonSEO, the largest and one of the most well-known SEO marketing conferences in the world. For us, it was the time we exhibited our biggest booth so far, which made the experience completely different.

We’ve been gradually expanding Collaborator’s international presence over the past year with booth appearances at SEO Mastery in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Ahrefs Evolve in San Diego. BrightonSEO felt like the perfect place to meet with our global users in person, connect with agencies, and get a better sense of the industry’s pulse in the international market.

A Quick Intro for Those Who Met Us There

If we met for the first time at Brighton, here’s the short recap of what we are all about:

Collaborator is a marketplace for content distribution, helping brands and agencies build visibility through sponsored articles and PR publications. We started in Ukraine, where we’ve become the leading platform of our kind, and over the past year, we’ve been focused on international growth.

BrightonSEO was our third major conference of 2025, following the SEO Mastery Summit in Ho Chi Minh City and Ahrefs Evolve in San Diego — and it turned out to be the biggest one yet.

Two Days of Conversations, Connections, and Chaos

Having our own booth at such a massive event was new for us. The traffic was constant: we met people from all over the world, from small boutique agencies to big SEO teams and freelancers running their own projects.

Our team spent most of the time talking about how Collaborator works, what kind of publishers we have, and how we handle quality control. We had hundreds of conversations, countless demos, and, honestly, barely a break.

Of course, we didn’t come empty-handed: we brought a lot of branded merch:

Our brand ambassador and podcast host Samy Ben Sadok showed up in a seagull costume. People won’t forget that one.

And yes, we gave out free beers and even hosted another giveaway — congrats again to Alicia Waddington-Azambuja, Digital Communications Executive at EDF, who won the iPhone 17 Pro!

Why BrightonSEO Matters to Us

BrightonSEO isn’t just another conference, it’s a community. It’s where thousands of SEO professionals meet to share ideas, discuss trends, and sometimes just laugh over how unpredictable Google can be.

For us, it was a chance to see how well-known Collaborator has already become internationally. Many people recognized the name and shared their experiences with the platform, which was honestly great to hear. Others discovered us for the first time and seemed genuinely excited to try it.

Being part of such a huge event also gave us perspective on how the SEO industry is evolving globally, and where Collaborator fits in that picture.

Gratitude and Next Steps

We left Brighton tired, half-deaf, and running low on vocal cords. But it’s one of those events that stays with you, and where you realize you’re part of something way bigger than your own corner in the industry.

We came home tired but inspired: with new partnerships, new ideas, and even more motivation to keep growing Collaborator’s international community. We’re already planning the next events for 2026, and BrightonSEO definitely set the bar high.
