Working with big data can be time-consuming, but at Collaborator, we’re always finding ways to make things easier for our users. Our goal is to streamline the site selection process and speed up transactions.

That's why we’ve made some improvements to how you work with lists of sites and Telegram channels.

Now, when you’re filtering sites in the catalog, you can exclude not just individual sites, but entire lists that you’ve created before.

1

How to Add a Site to a List

Advertisers can create lists of sites based on specific criteria. Here’s how:

(1) My lists →

(2) Enter the name →

(3) Create a list

  • To add a site from the catalog:
(1) select sites →

(2) click Move to list →

(3) select the required list

How to Work with Lists

You can also exclude lists when searching for sites. To do this:

(1) Go to filters →

(2) Expand Additional fields and scroll down →

(3) In the Exclude from List section, click Yes

For example, on the screenshot below you can see how excluding a list reduced the search results by the number of sites in the list (from 36934 to 36927).

This makes your searches more efficient, preventing you from seeing the same sites again when you filter. You can also manage lists in the Telegram channel catalog the same way.

How to Analyze Competitors

To effectively analyze competitors using the Collaborator's "My lists" tool, follow these steps:

Step 1: Gather Competitor Data
As a starting point, compile a list of your competitors’ backlinks using a backlink analysis tool. For example, Ahrefs Backlink Checker can help you extract valuable data about where your competitors are getting their backlinks from.

Step 2: Create a New List in Collaborator
Once you have your competitors' backlinks, log in to your Collaborator account and create a new list using the “My List” option. This feature allows you to add up to 1,000 links or domain URLs. You’ll be able to review which websites are available on the platform, examine their analytical data and prices, place guest posts and get backlinks all in one place.

Step 3: Filter and Exclude Lists
After adding your competitors' links, utilize the filtering options in the catalog to refine your search. You can select the "No" option in the "Have worked with the platform" field to exclude the sites where you have already placed the links.
